Recently, I have had a lot of trouble with this. Throughout my whole life my biggest weakness has been comparing myself to others. It is so harmful to do so, because it twists up your self-confidence, and constantly leaves a feeling of sadness and hurt.
I do not know why I do this, but I decided today, I really need to stop.
All it does it cause low self-confidence and over-thinking. We are all different people and all have some amazing qualities of our own. I and many other people need to realize this.

It's hereeeee and its so nice outside.
First day of the year I'am wearing shorts outside for more than 30 seconds without getting extremely cold.
This warm weather has gotten me thinking about things that I would like to do more this year than I did last year over the summer.
So I suggest you try to do the same!!
1. Go to beach more often!
2. Spend time in city more!
3. Wear more sundresses and happy clothes!
4. Spend less time on comp. and more outside!
5. Exercise more haha probably won't happen but hey its worth a shot!

The Spectacular Now *Spoiler Alert*
It is NOT a love story. It is a movie about a deceptive relationship and a boy who does not even love a girl who is so innocent and loves him.
I watched this trailer and for so long was waiting to watch it, but never found a good mood to. Then finally, I succumbed and bought it.
When I watched the first 10 minutes I hoped soon that the character in which Miles Teller (a brilliant actor, and one of my FAVORITES) was playing would come to his senses and change. What irked me the most about his character was that he was rude and COMPLETELY using this poor girl Amy(Shailene Woodley) to make his ex jealous.
A day after kissing Amy, he wakes up hungover and barely remembering asking her to prom as well as kissing her, and immediately texts his ex telling her he MISSES HER.
The ex already has a new boyfriend, and THEY BROKE UP AND HE TOLD ANOTHER GIRL HE LIKES HER.
The whole reason why hes such a dick is because he also has a severe drinking problem. He is constantly being seen drinking during school, work, and whenever really possible.
We later find out his dad is an alcoholic who ditched his mom and him when he was younger.
There, to me, was little to no love in this film. Poor Amy had to sit there and watch as Sutter aimlessly watched his ex dancing at prom and seemed so infatuated with her.
His ex was a sweet girl too, telling him he needs to stop and he has a problem.
The only love Sutter showed towards Amy was when he was drunk, and it was deceitful and not real love.
The movie, and acting was good. With both the main characters winning awards for acting at Sundance respectively.
But trust me if you think it is going to be a love story it sure isn't one.

Sub-Post Once Again !
I cannot REITERATE how much I can not deal with people who change when they are around their friends. Like jesus christ stop trying to seem cool because youre not. Also im not talking about girls cause we bitches do that on the reg, I'm mainly talking about dudes. Like sometimes they dont change in front of certain guys, like i dont know for example their roomates or something, but then in front of others they do and act all stupid. like ha you suck.
And back to the selfie people I talked about last time, if youre gonna post a SELFIE then fucking post one without YOUR HAIR HALF COVERIN YOUR FACE. Like what is the point of posting a selfie, even though you shouldnt be posting them THAT much anyway, and covering HALF of your fucking face. like WHAT.
Also girls who have twitter names with a certain body part of theirs in it, DONT DO THAT. its stupid and not creative and dumb. AND ITS NOT EVEN NICE SO STOP THINKING IT IS.

Spring is Here
Finally! That smell of florwers and that amazing feeling of a cool breeze against your faxe rather than a cold, face biting sting.
Spring is here and you know what that means!
Warmer weather, happier vibes, and gettin that tan on.
But also, April showers. It's supposed to rain allllll day today and tomorrow which kinda sucks.
But! Because of this new weather I'am going on a shopping binge. I ususally do so in class when I am too bored.
My least favorite thing about warmer weather is the sweating and the BEES! I HATE THEM. They're so aggressive and one time I got a stinger stuck in my head (from a WASP) for like 6 days. It was horrific. I was in a LOT of pain and ever since I have hated them. But what can you do, theyre good for the enviroment and I respect that.
I also love not having to lug my north face around, well its my roomates north face but still.
It's still in that awkward do I wear a coat? weather but in about a week or two it will be officially goodbye to the winter coats, hello to a hoodie only.

Ice Cream!!
I love ice cream obvi but recently I've tried the weirdest flavor... And LOVED IT! "Oatmeal cookie" it's mad good. It literally tastes like oatmeal cookie dough but frozen and a little sweeter, it hits the spot. Some may find it almost TOO sweet. But I have a sweet tooth and so this really is one of my favs.
So yeah!

Sushi
When you go and get sushi the best thing to do is start out with some good old soup. Now I love sushi so so good. I had the spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and the specialties. Love.
I tried green tea ice cream for the first time and it was. Awesome. I loved how light and yummy it was. Deffs recommend it!!! The taste is so good and it essentially tastes like a frozen green tea latte. Green tea lattes are my favorite especially with 2 Splenda from Starbucks. Speaking of green tea I had a blueberry super fruit green tea this morning and last night. It was relaxing and tasted delicious with 2 Splenda as well. Well thanks y'all!

Wifi down.. What would we even do?!
Basically we all rely on wifi.. I mean I admit it I just tried using my laptop to even type this. But literally me and my roomates (one of which phone just broke this morning) lost all wifi connection on our comps and after ten minutes we were FREAKING OUT. It's kinda funny to see people without wifi. They basically are naked. I am so bad without my phone in fact one time I lost it for 16 hours and I swear I cried an ocean. It was real rough. The 90$ repair was well worth it to me (but it pissed off my parents real well). Then, about a month later I once again broke my phone. That repair was also 90$. I FREAKED OUT. It's bad to say that but it's true. Some people love on their phone (yes,a lot more than me) but I am deffs guilty for hogging my phone.
Anyway, the wifi has been out now for a good 4 hours. Classes have been cancelled due to it, and some people are even going insane (not really insane). We've resorted to ACTUALLY talking for more than just a few hours. It's kinda weird but taking wifi from people shows aspirations, and it's interesting to see the coping methods. I ha-- dislike many different types of humans. Its not like HATREd for these people its just confusion, like why act this way? One of them being people who change or try to act funny in front of their friends. I won't name names but this dude who is kinda close to me does this a lot. It really just does not make sense to me. Like who are you tryna impress? I just wanna turn around and say SHUTUP. Which I usually do say. But to me, it doesnt make sense. Why are you exaggorating or trying to act all cool in front of your friends? It is as thought your actions arent already good enough for them or who you are doesn't make them happy.
When people post MULTIPLE selfies of themselves on social media:
Now, I may or may not have a bias to this, you know who you know what I am talking about. But what I dont mean is posting like selfies or whatever I'am saying like MUTIPLE A DAY OR MANY MANY TIMES A WEEK. One main thing that annoys me too is the makeup the people are wearing is overdone or the confusing trying to act cool with captions like "the boys love me" like what..? WHO ARE YOU. I dont want to keep ranting about this because I know it is going to irk me EVEN more. But thank ya.

Teas:
China green tips DEFFS not as good as tazo's other green tea mixed with lemongrass and mint flavoring it's a sure thing to help you relax and have your taste buds go on an adventure. Literally has china green tips with 2 equal and it still tasted rather harsh, don't get me wrong I am no green tea expert but I have had quite a lot of it and this just didn't hit the spot. Next I decided to have me some chai tea, not latte form though, just a nice chai over tea. One tea bag. Medium. Splash o' milk (whole). Two equals and boom awesomeness. Jay taste test: "guess the tea" "uhhhh pumpkin?". Some boys just don't know their tea I guess.
So yeah.

When ya need a good pick me up for food and ya don't know what to have I have one word: improvise. I was craving both buffalo chicken and Mac n cheese. What did I make? Homemade Buffalo Mac and cheese. Jk... With the homemade part. Who the hell has time for that? But I did bake some chicken nuggs literally DROWN the chicken in buffalo sauce, and pour ALLLLL ova that Mac and cheese (preferably shells) and boom you got an easy random meal. Love.
So yeah.

So I just got blogspot on my iPhone I also got a ring pop. Today's flavor is cherry limeade. I love it and ring pops are so fun cause it's like yooo it's right on my finger! I hate people that think ring pops are dumb. Or do I? My mom always said,"hate is a strong word" so I will try to not use it as much on this I suppose.

I'am Alex and for some reason I was sitting on my bed in my college dorm when I stumbled upon this. And I thought, why not create a blog? I know that was a fragment but I don't care because its my blog. Sometimes people look at me and are like what is she doing with her life? Well I dont know the answer to that but why not make a blog and see what the answer could be ya know. Today I listened to the song Shark by Oh Wonder because my friend Kate showed it to me. She just came and visited and knows I am writing this blog. This is my first post of many more to come.
